Reports from Mission UK 2000 (Week 2)

During week 2 (2000/10/12-17), Julie ministered in the south coast of England (and amid the flooding in Sussex & Kent).

Week Two: South Coast of England

A Women's Breakfast (Oct. 12) turned into a stage for the Lord's power penetrating women's hearts and lives as Julie spoke and prayed for individuals. The showers of God's mercy and revival were falling.

The same flow of the Spirit was dramatically repeated in the Sunday (Oct. 15) morning service at Mid-Sussex Christian Centre in Burgess Hill.  The power of God came suddenly, tangibly upon the meeting.  Many were healed, delivered, encouraged, and pressed to the front to receive prayer as the life of Jesus flowed openly.

"We are pleased to be able to write a letter of introduction on behalf of Julie Young.

"Julie has visited our church a number of times and each time we have been touched very significantly by the presence of the Lord.  Julie's ministry is prophetic.  She carries a strong anointing and brings great blessing as she ministers.  She preaches from the Word with dignity and passion always bringing a clear and relevant message.

"She was with us last weekend, October 14-15, 2000.  Through her God gave release and guidance to many.  She is scheduled to come to us again next year.  Julie's approach to the local church structure is impeccable and always operates in submission to the Leadership.

"We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Julie to you.  Should you require any further details please do not hesitate to contact us.

"Yours Sincerely in Him,"

Personal Stories:

Jane and Martin Baskerville provide shelter and a safe, loving environment for people who are unable to function fully in society.  Adults with Autism and Down's Syndrome make their home with the Baskervilles.

"As Julie began to speak my heart felt light and full of peace -- it was as though God had brought a mighty release...  Julie spoke and God continued to move; time and time again the things Julie spoke went deep within my soul...  Then it was time to pray -- oh my!  Julie prayed for me, and God spoke again.  In brief, Julie said that 'God is giving you a big heart -- one that is able to love the people he has called us (My husband and I) to reach out to!  ...  God spoke so clearly and sensitively through her -- in summary, this has been a significant breakthrough for me personally.."

"The ministry of the Word was deep and heart-searching, and made an impact on all who heard.  The result was that lives were touched as the Holy Spirit did His work."

"Two years ago I suddenly became badly depressed, and although by October I was very much better, I still had times when things seemed very dark.  I especially found it difficult to sleep, and I would sometimes lay for a long time unable to find release from painful thoughts.  When Julie prayed for me God brought me into a wonderful freedom, and the heaviness has completely gone.  I find life so much easier, as if I was carrying a heavy stone before, and now I can move freely....

"I find myself overflowing with His love and peace.  There is a clarity, and closeness about my walk with the Lord that I have never known.  My sleep pattern is so much better and if I do wake at night I find myself praying.

"I thank God for Julie's faithfulness and her ministry, which have brought me this wonderful release."

Gosport

On Sunday (Oct. 15) at Jacob's Well Pentecostal Church in Gosport, Julie preached and ministered the Word of God.  Pastor Ian Alderson told Julie that a man whom she had prayed for on her last visit had been totally delivered from drugs, and healed of emphysema.  What a powerful God we serve, Who sets the prisoners free!

"I am sending a report of the service in which Julie Young ministered in Jacob’s Well in Gosport Hants (UK).  Julie worked with this Church and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Julie ministered on the Four Square Gospel.  My comment about the ministry to the Church was that the message was the right message for us and its timing was perfect it was very clear. (Everybody agreed) The congregation felt safe so when the call came for prayer they were free to receive and many did.  I had spoken to two young men who on the path of recovery from heroin addiction that if Julie gave a call for prayer that they should go forward.  They were the first.  One expressed the desire to get right with God and prayed a prayer of rededication.  (He wondered what hit him Praise the Lord) The second man was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues.  His comment after was that he had experienced many things but nothing was like this.  ' It was like going face to face with Jesus.' This is only the second time that Julie has ministered at Jacob’s Well, but from the first visit I felt a link in the Spirit.  I believed that this was to be on going and we look forward to working together in the days that remain before He returns.

"Many thanks, Pastor Ian"

International Bible Training Institute

Julie accepted an invitation to speak on Monday (Oct. 16) to the students at the International Bible Training Institute (IBTI) located in Burgess Hill. Preaching on the mission of the people of God, Julie then led the students in prayer and many experienced the hand of God upon them.  Prayer continued for more than an hour with the students.

"I was greatly blessed.  I had something on my mind that had been weighing me down greatly but when the woman of God got through preaching and she prayed with me I felt the weight gone and peace entered my heart.  I am not the same person who entered into that meeting...  That fear and lie from the pit of hell is gone, praise the Lord." Georgiana Max-Dixon, from Sierra Leone, Africa, Student at IBTI

"I'm just writing to give God all the glory for the wonderful meeting and the magnificent sense of His presence we could enjoy that Saturday morning.  My heart was pounding as it had never done before and Jesus came and really gave my heart a 'shower'...  Julie prayed for me and my heart was purified, Hallelujah." Inga Jasaite, from Finland, Student at IBTI

Women's Meeting

On Tuesday (Oct. 17) Julie ministered to a women's group at the United Reform Church in Burgess Hill.

"We appreciated the laying on of hands and are very grateful...  Before she left, Jean told me she really felt a change and that something had happened to her after the session.  I, too, have had less pain in my back and have benefited from your help..."

President, Women's group of the United Reformed Church, Burgess Hill"
