Pages From the Team Journal in Grahamstown

Crowd listens to the gospel in GrahamstownDay One - Arrival

Eighteen hours on a plane can really wrinkle your posterior and make you feel like your brain is a mashed potato.  However, relief was coming quickly as the team made its way to sunny Grahamstown, the Festival City of the Eastern Cape.  The warmth of our hosts and their obvious delight in having us made us more than welcome.  Because of their love and care we were soon to feel as if we were family.

People in this town are used to performances on the street, and Jesus and we weren't going to disappoint them.  People would be healed, made free from addictions, and liberated into their destinies to become soul winners.  We soon were to experience their exuberance in worship and their deep hunger to participate in the move of God.

People in the crowd raise their hands and pray to receive Christ
